The Challenge Relocating to Sandy Springs from out of state, our clients purchased what appeared to be a modern flip. However, the home was filled with low-quality, big-box finishes that lacked soul and quality. The layout was riddled with technical headaches—a tiny dining room, an island with no legroom, and a fireplace that felt like an afterthought. They needed a designer who could listen to their vision and deliver a high-quality, moody sanctuary.

Embracing Mid-Century Aesthetic

We moved away from the bright and basic trends of the previous flippers, leaning instead into a sophisticated, midcentury aesthetic. The goal was to create a home that felt intentional and one-of-a-kind, ensuring their property looked nothing like the neighbor’s house.

A Bold Color Palette

The grandest transformation happened before you even step inside. We selected a perfect, moody green and black palette for the exterior that completely redefined the home's presence in the neighborhood. Inside, we solved the layout friction by re-engineering the kitchen and installing a stunning, glass-encased wine closet that turned a previously dead space into a primary design feature.

The Result: "Love It, Love It, Love It"

We elevated a poorly executed renovation into a sophisticated "Sexy Mountain Retreat." Despite managing the project while the clients were states away, we delivered a result that perfectly reflects their status. The verdict from the homeowners is simple and recurring: "Love it."
